LAS CUMBRES RANCH - LOS ALAMOS, CA

Permaculture, solar energy and regenerative land use design & consultation. Helped guide property owners with home energy efficiency upgrades, water batteries (storage tanks high in elevation), and introduced Holistic Management concepts to the Las Cumbres team. Played key role in connecting property owners to Holistic Management International, Savory Institute, and renowned consultant & educator - Rodger Savory. As a Powur Independent Energy Consultant, designed and built a 22 kW ground mount solar energy system with 20 kWh Enphase Battery Storage for cost savings and back up power for house and frozen farm products.

SB STUDENT HOUSING COOP - GOLETA, CA

Student-member owned housing cooperative (non-profit) in Isla Vista (Goleta), CA. Served as sustainability consultant and $1.2 million capital improvements campaign consultant for 2 year process. Provided guidance on process, project selection, member input, decision making, contractor selection, and implementation strategy. Focused on cost saving value increasing sustainability improvements and house member experience enhancements such as safety and air quality, solar energy, plumbing / HVAC upgrades, H2O filtration, and more.

THE MESA OASIS - SANTA BARBARA, CA

The "Meditation Shed" - made of clay soil, sand, reclaimed wood, chopped straw, and repurposed windows and doors. 200 square feet. Cost less than $2,000 in materials total. Earthen plasters inside and out. Earth floor and a succulent living roof.
