For over twenty years, I’ve been helping property owners (and their managers) to create a healthier, more resilient, more diverse, and more abundant world, one site at a time! Designing, growing and building a better Earth.

As a professional sustainability educator, consultant, builder and designer, I share cutting-edge tools and technologies for creating a cleaner, greener and more resilient world. I share ecological wisdom traditions and Nature-based environmental design principles, along with emergent scientific best management practices, which I organize into a unique sustainability framework for humanity to live in harmony.

EXPERIENCE

Over the last two decades, I’ve had the honor of working with hundreds of property owners, private residential properties, resorts, retreat centers and organic farms to incorporate regenerative design into their mission, vision, practice and operation.

I have a diverse professional background and clientele ranging from small government agencies and non-profits as well as multi-unit and single family residential suburban homes, homesteads, farms, resorts, retreats, communities and commercial properties. 75% of my clients are single family residential properties, rural family farms, and small to medium sized retreat-center or resort properties.

I have formal training in Environmental Horticulture Science and Environmental Biology with decades of hands on experience teaching and practicing regenerative design, including in the areas of: natural building; Permaculture Design; regenerative agriculture; sustainable land use design; waste reduction, recycling and composting; solar energy system plus battery storage (on and off grid applications); and project leadership and facilitation.

I work with savvy property owners who want to enhance their property abundance, biodiversity, resilience and performance while adding safety, security, cost savings, and freedom using the Appreculture Design Framework.
